This month I’ve been working on a very interesting project as part of my on-the-job training.
Did you know that all the corporate sales in Lufthansa are tracked via different ways?
Well yes, the corporate sales are very important for Lufthansa and in our specific case for Caracas, a lot of time and efforts are invested on offering good contracts and benefits for the different companies that choose Lufthansa as their first option when travelling to Europe or the rest of the world.
Our Sales Managers are in charge of pushing the Travel Agencies to track their companies and this is done through the company’s ID number (registered in our data base) or the company’s tracking number which is important for LH in order to reach the set of targets and goals.
My current project is about a strategy to incentive and push the Travel Agencies to introduce the tracking number of the different companies in every reservation they create. Adding constant communication and support it is important to offer assistance and clear information to those in charge of the companies at the Travel Agencies. Our main goal is to reach the yearly targets plus a homogenization of the internal information for the Sales Managers to be consistent.
