Hello everybody!I’m happy to be here again sharing my experiences with all of you.
As you may remember, I am Eduardo and I belong to the 2012 IAP Generation together with other 14 amazing colleagues who also participate in the program with me from all over the world. I am based in Caracas (CCS) at the Sales and Marketing office.
Caracas is the capital of Venezuela, an amazing city situated in a mountain valley and which lies between 760 and 910 meters above sea level. Being only 20 minutes away by car from the Caribbean Sea, it provides the possibility to its visitors and population to enjoy any of the beaches of the nearby coast, the mountain facing the city, the crazy nightlife and many more…
As Caracas is the financial, political, commercial and cultural center of the nation, you will find a lot of crowd on the streets, traffic and activities during the working days as it is the most populated city of the country, however during the weekends and holidays, you will for sure have the opportunity to enjoy the city in a more relaxed way…
If you visit Caracas on baseball season, you will see a lot of followers of the most popular baseball teams of the country: Los Leones de Caracas and Los Navegantes del Magallanes. It is fun to see all of the fanatics converge on the baseball stadiums as they defend their teams with avocation, motivated to the historical rivalry of these two baseball teams. On the days of games, you will see many crowds of people on the streets, subway stations and highways with their shouting slogans and their teams T-shirts.
Also, Caracas houses the most important museums, theaters and cultural centers of the country, as well as the most important University: Universidad Central de Venezuela, which is considered as world’s heritage by the UNESCO.
So this is an insight of my city, I hope you liked it… Keep tuned during the week to I can tell you more of what I do in my city…
