Two years, ten countries, twenty-two IAPs.
Five business seminars, twenty-four trainers, and twelve kilograms of butter.
(We like our butter in Seeheim).
After one heck of a time, it’s time for the IAPs from Generation 2011 to say goodbye – to each other, and also to you, the readers of this blog. We’ve learned a lot about ourselves and what it means to be an IAP, and we’d like to share a few things here:
We’ve been a large, loud – and sometimes dysfunctional – family. We’ve laughed together, we’ve cried together (well okay, I’ve cried), and occasionally, we’ve wanted to smack each other. But, most of all… we’ve loved each other.
So with incredibly heavy hearts we must now say “auf wiedersehen”. We’d like to leave you, though, with a few parting words very close to our hearts. They’re particularly apt for us, as we embark on a new phase of our lives; but they’re also a reminder for you, readers, to seize the day. So – carpe diem!
This is your moment
Today’s your day
I feel it
You’ve paved the way
If you get down get up (oh oh)
When you get down get up (eh eh)
