It is half time …

We have almost seen every important place in Dubai and we are also familiar with our offices and duties.

Now, it‘s time for a new adventure: Abu Dhabi!

Today, we rented a car and just drove down the street. Abu Dhabi is almost 1 ½ hour far away from Dubai. On our way to this more traditional city, we noticed once again that we stay in the middle of the desert.

In the daily life, when you only see the skyscrapers and the modern, high technical way of living, you can quickly forget that you are in the Sahara.
The aim of our visit to Abu Dhabi was mainly to see the famous Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

The first impression was amazing. We have never seen such a beautiful mosque like this before. The architecture was unique. We were definitely impressed.
Did you know that to build up this mosque, materials from more than 15 countries were used? Traces from Italy, Germany, Morocco, India, Turkey, Malaysia, Iran, China, UK, New Zealand, Greece, United Arab Emirates, etc. can be seen in each corner.

We think this fact is a good symbol to show how small the world indeed got and how easy it becomes to get connected.
Working for an airline definitely means: “you have the world in your pocket”!
