When I started my internship at the Talent Management Department of Lufthansa, I had no idea how fun and exciting it can be to plan a trainee program. But being part of the team responsible for the new concept for the ProTeam I realized how many aspects come along with the realization of a trainee-program. Especially the fact that we put the complete concept to the test gave me the great opportunity to assume responsibility, to bring in own ideas and to create something completely new for the Lufthansa Group.
In the spirit of the Trainee-program we were looking for innovative ways to design the application progress, the selection days and the program itself. All in all this made my internship much more interesting and more intense than I could ever image. I obviously expected to gain some exciting insights in the Lufthansa World during my internship and to work on interesting projects but being part of the ProTeam-Team I experienced a way of working I could definitely consider to keep in my upcoming working life.
Enjoying working on the ProTeam project obviously raised our positive anticipation on the applications. Nevertheless I was really excited when rating the videos and the questions in the first round. And we were not disappointed by your applications: so many exciting ideas, creative ways to use the objects and surprising actions. It was definitely one of the biggest challenges within the process to decide who we would invite to the selection days. And exactly those days have come: today we ended the last assessment center. Meeting the applicants face-to-face and getting to know them personally has been an exciting experience!
